February is Heart Health Awareness Month, and this cause is incredibly personal to our family.
Our firstborn son was diagnosed in utero with a congenital heart defect (CHD). He fought courageously for 18 days before going to be with Jesus. Since 2013, we’ve made it our mission to raise awareness — not only for his story, but for the thousands of families walking this journey every year.

CHD is the #1 most common birth defect, yet so many still don’t know its reality. Awareness inspires understanding, advocacy, and support for research. While there is no current cure, medical advancements and treatment options have improved dramatically, even since our son’s journey — and every voice helps push that progress further.
