For our family, this month holds deep meaning.
Our firstborn son was diagnosed in utero with a congenital heart defect. After a very brave 18-day battle, he went to be with Jesus. Since 2013, we have made it our mission to speak boldly about CHD — not just for our son, but for every heart warrior and their families.

Awareness sparks understanding, encourages support, and helps raise funding for research. While there is currently no cure for CHDs, advancements in medical care and research have grown tremendously — even since our journey — and awareness continues to make a difference in that progress.
